The Intelligent Sadness of Designing Americans

Never saw G.G. but played a show with his brother Merle's band Cheater
Slicks. Very bad. G.G. mostly just insulted people and threw feces. I met
him once at a bar, he seemed OK. I knew one kid from Western Mass who
claimed that G.G. and the Murder Junkies played his high scholl prom. They
would put together tapes of cover bands and send them out to high schools
with phony press kits to book prom and dance shows. Then they would show up
and do their usual thing. Not much as music but great as guerilla comedy.
