Heart of Darkness  was written in 1902,  prior to  the time frame of 
the list  (1923 - ).   After I stopped being incensed about not 
seeing Marquez Garcia,  I realized that the books were all originally 
written in English.   Still, way too much fluff and not enough 
substance.
