No problem, you non-semantically discrimiinatiing
pinhead...exactly where did I denigrate language?
lol!..man, you need to take a reading comprehension
class....I said that jokers who express
generalizations like " There is nothing outside of
language" are making statements about as sensible or
meaningfull as " colorless green ideas sleep
furiously"...Pinker obviously feels language is very
important...super important...he just, and I'll repeat
the basic idea for the slow-to-encode, doesn't find
reasons to say that it is the ONLY important thing,
nor is it the ONLY means by which we "think"...we can
think non-verbally as well...he isn't as Absolutist or
Nazi about his interests as are your little coterie of
self-aggrandizing irresponsible philosophers who can't
seem to BEAR the idea of sticking a few fair
conditionals, qualifications or doubts in there
propositions....Dennet is a philosopher, and he has no
problem saying things like, " and I could be dead
wrong here...." or " ...as far as I can tell"..or " it
seems reasonable to expect that "...etc, etc.
etc....how often do these kind of remarks appear in
Derrida? Or Hegel?...I guess the rule here is: "don't
relibquish the tyranny of your ego when expounding
your theory"...something kinda weird coming from Crit
Theory people who at least SEEMED to have a Big Issue
with Powers Imposing Themselves On
Us....Hmmmmmmmmm...well, gotta go piss on my
matress...
