Great idea. But how would this work in terms of hostings, timings etc.?
Si there anyone on the list still keepiing the Pynchon faith who was in on the last GR group read? Did that get to the end of the book? If not, what happened?
And if we do the group read, what will we do with the posts from the original read? Ignore them? Include them?
Do we assume everybody has the GR Companion?
Will we collectively have anything more worth adding to what's already been said?
Whatever thes answers, I look forward to it......
One final question: Who is this 'Terrance'?

Well as far as I know there has only been one Group Read of Gravity's
Rainbow. I happen to think/hope that there are a lot of lurkers on this list
who might come out and join in if we did another Group Read.
Against my suggestion is the obvious (and credible) argument that it's been
done before, though whether it got finished i don't know.
But I just thought, in the absence of a new Pynchon book, why not give it a
go?
And there was always Terrance (where/why did he go) who promised us a
spectacular opener if we did it...
