GR P1 S1: "a spectacle: the fall of a crystal palace."

	He's afraid of the way the glass will fall- soon-
	it will be a spectacle: the fall of a crystal palace.
	But coming down in total blackout, without
	one glint of light, only great invisible crashing.

Well, it's about gravity, after all, and this, the first of three
"fallings" in this section, all filtered, in various ways, through
the sensitive consciousness of Pirate. I imagine that they must
form a triad, somehow- maybe a chord of the dominant
theme?

That would take it away, somewhat, from the previously mentioned
"Kristallnacht", or, perhaps, put that imagery a little further into
the background- a minor, or diminished- to stick with the same
musical metaphor of an Overture, which this section might be
seen (or heard) as. Certainly present, and capable, at any time,
of supplanting a more abstract reading (which I prefer) that tends
to link the three falls in a more symbolic or even abstract way.
