Yes. The interesting thing about "X" is that it can be considered
as an "arbitrary" variable, as in "the set of all X" where the
"set" might be anything from all those in a movie theater to
all those on the planet, etc. The division between "us" and "X"
is likewise arbitrary and arbitrarily determined by the agent
attempting description, classification and control.

Another interesting aspect about Malcolm's personal history is
the fact that he feigned mental illness to avoid the draft, and
was later labeled in F.B.I. surveillance files as an "asocial 
personality with paranoid tendencies."
