The problem with debating an IDer is time frame. The debate takes place
within a limited time period. THe Ider can keep up for an hour. The public
show ends. The scientist can continude talking for another ten or twenty
hours about the data supporting evolution. The public doesn't hear or see
that. They just see that the know-nothing kept up for an hour. It grants
them false credibility.
