That's true to a certain extent,  I'm sure.  But the Communists  got 
12.3% of the vote in the 1933 elections while the other parties got: 
National Socialists 43.9%, Nationalists 8%, Center Party 11.7%, 
Social Democrats 18.3% and all others 5.8% of the votes.


The Jewish population in Germany in 1932,  was something in the 
neighborhood of 1%.  About 1/2 million emigrated that year,  leaving 
the Jewish population at the time of the election at about .75%.   I 
think that Stalin was equated with Bolshevism more than Jews were, 
although I'm not denying that "Jewish Bolsheviks" were demonized. 
I'm saying that Hitler "used" anti-Semitism as he used a number of 
other issues but that he did not unify all of Germany behind 
anti-Semitism.   The reasons behind the Holocaust are  more complex 
than  the equally simplistic but "Hitler-the-madman" or 
"Germans-the-anti-Semitic-tribe"  theories would make it.
