The Wrath of the Intelligent Designer - any challenges?

I disagree. Children can be VERY easily fooled, especially when they're
browbeaten by their parents, forced to go to church, say prayers at the dinner
table...ever see the movie American History X?! The indoctrination/brainwashing
reinforcement is just going to lead to fights between kids defending one
"truth" against another. I wouldn't be surprised if it results in bloodshed
eventually, a modern mini-holy war. There are reasons for separation of church
and state, as originally intended by our forefathers. God knows (!)(sorry,
couldn't resist) why apparently no one's tried suing the US gov't (or state? or
local?) for flaunting that principle; but maybe the disappearance (i.e.,
murder) of Madeleine Murray O'Hare had something to do with influencing people not
to fight such hypocrisy...?!
Anyone on the list know if there have been any challenges to the
creationists' teachings in schools on those grounds? And what the results (if any)
were?

And no one should have any concern whatsoever for the
teaching of "Intelligent Design" in the classroom side by
side with the theory of evolution. It's the best thing that could
happen.

Children are not fooled easily. If the theory of evolution has
any merit at all, it can only be strengthened by the comparison.
This represents a real opportunity for a stimulating thought
producing consideration of reality, which has been sadly
missing from public education. It also marks a very real
admission that evolution is valid by the creationists.
