And this low-level, theory based,  anti-semitism makes them into 
Goldhagen's "Willing" executioners?   I've been accused of being 
racist.    Does this mean I'm interested in condemning to death by 
gas chamber all who are of darker skin than I?

Goldhagen did not say "some Germans...." He did not even say "most 
Germans. "   Goldhagen said "Germans" which to my mind would mean a 
substantial majority,  75% and up.   This is what bothers me and 
others, including historians who noted the less than substantive 
resources ,  who read the book,  it's a polemic against Germany. 
It's what we go through in the US about the Native American genocide. 
"All" Americans are racist because some Americans - the military 
still hot after the Civil War -  annihilated a people.   Extremists 
on both sides do this,  if you're not with us to the extreme end, 
you too are racist,

This is an evil book, as evil as the well-known incitement to hatred 
against Germans by Elie Wiesel, who praises this thick volume as "a 
tremendous contribution to the understanding and teaching of the 
Holocaust."
