Has anyone seen this movie?

I am debating buying the DVD but I think it is like $50 US and you
need a DVD player than can handle PAL.

I also am debating buying that Byron the Bulb movie.  This are both
going to be way in the future purchases if I decide to go for it since
I just bought a new computer.  Has anyone seen either of these films? 
Are they worth buying?  Advice on finding a way to get my current DVD
player to play PAL?
