Yeah, bumper stickers can be tricky.  I once saw one that said: "My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter, " and my first thought was that the driver must be a member of the local union, nicknamed the "Jewish local" of the NYC Carpenters Union.  Didn't really connect Jesus with being a creep-assed boss, though on further reflection, it makes sense.
