Mason is a little frustrated at his inability to get Dixon to
take his paranoid fears seriously. He praises Dixon for his bravery in
returning to the Cape from St Helena.
Dixon remarks about the way people tend to forget their
experiences and repeat mistakes. He thinks this will happen in "the next
World." Mason and Dixon banter about the differences in their religions.

255 is the partition title page with an underlined "Two" toward the top
of the page, and one word: "America" in the center of the page.
