Pynchon's niece

That is kind of too perfect re: his niece's line of work.  I wonder
what Pynchon thinks about it.  Maybe we should write to her and
convince her to include a cameo appearance by the man himself?  He
can, like, be the cable guy's boss who keeps calling and interrupting
the action, or maybe one of the prisoners in the background in the
scandalous prison scene.
