McSweeney's does put out good stuff - I own RURD and am on Book 4
actually.  As far as that goes though, they didn't bother to put in an
index so it's useless if you want to find what you've read after
you've read it...  was a great effort and I think that lacking an
index really kills it...  maybe if it ever gets on Google Prints
uncensored (I've never checked to see if it's on there, I wonder...) 
and as I said I did like People of Paper.  Sometimes they have good
stories in their quarterly, too.  But I think overall they push the
faddish stuff, and in the end pay more attention to how the book is
put together than the writing that's inside.

I do think the limits they push as far as book / quarterly
construction goes is great, by the way.  The tri-fold issue, the comic
issue, etc, pretty cool (even if it does kind of fall into the faddish
side of things).
