You're not responding to the point I was making,
although I understand and agree with the point you are
making.

You could look it up, since apparently it was before
you joined the p-list, jbor used to give us shit from
the protection of intellectual property p.o.v., for
quoting lengthy passages from copyrighted articles 
which I guess is OK with him now that he's passing
around whole ncopyrighted journal articles.  

I don't actually know anybody on the list who has ever
taken jbor up on the offer, nobody I talk with offlist
at least, so I really don't know if rj eats them for
lunch, or tries to get them to support his points in
the p-list flamewars in which he participates, or what
he might ask in exchange.  The way he does it, and the
timing, makes it all look and feel vaguely
mephistotelian, above and beyond the hypocrisy, of
course.
