envy

[Ya Sam]

I'm not an envious type, but right now I suddenly realise that I do envy 
those who have already read Against the Day, (editors, don't know how many) 
as well as those who might be reading it or are about to read it (reviewers 
from important magazines). That's elite against preterite to me.
