suggestions for col49 and theory of systems

hey guys.

this is my first mail to the pynchon-list.
I'm a student of german literature and comparative literature currently writing about "the crying of lot 49" interpreted by niklas luhmanns "theory of social systems". I now there has been some talk about luhmanns theory here some years ago (1999 ?) and I hope you can give me some suggestions.
I wanted to explicate something like different systems of reality and paranoia as a way to loosen the difference of system and environment. but I'm not really sure if this will fit.
