"This" what?

How can this brief passage possibly be enough on which
to base a judgement of the novel as a whole, since
that's where "Morris" and A Grown Man Who Calls
Himself Malign and some other yet-to-be-heard-from
fakenameemailaccounts seem to be headed in this
instance of knee-jerk response - I guess jbor's next,
and we will have heard from all three of the Stooges.

Haven't you guys ever heard the saying, "Don't judge a
book by its cover"?
