Dave forgive me but you think too defensively.  Go on the offensive.   
Consider that Craig, when he stops shaking and thinks things over,  
may actually end up in the  not too distant future as a never say die  
p-lister well conditioned with a little experience to sling the  shit  
with the best of us.  I  believe the chances are he was just utterly  
bewildered at the first experience. Didn't know which way to turn.   
That happens to newcomers.  What am I  supposed to do  here? What  
dare I  do? And they interpret their confusion as something out of  
kilter on the p-list.  But there  is nothing wrong with the p-list  
just as it is. If there was,  how can we explain the stupendous  
amount of traffic. That's evidence of a good list, not a bad  one. As  
you say Craig appeared to show at  least a bit of  promise. if he's  
as smart as he seemed to you, he'll be smart enough not to want to  
miss a breathtaking experience.
