I missed this particular detail in the flood awhile
back, but did I understand correctly that jbor
actually changed the Wikipedia entry on Pynchon to
reflect his claim - now proven false, or at the very
least thoroughly ambiguous and untrustworthy -  that
Melanie Jackson denied the Playboy Japan interview was
authentic?

If so, that's exactly the kind of problem that
Wikipedia needs to solve if it's going to be a
trustworthy source.
