P-list as an encyclopaedia

Of course nothing can beat Google, if it's not a SPECIAL Google, (like that 
in China), but I do find it cool while browsing through the archives of the 
P-list that those who are interested in Pynchon are in fact interested in 
everything. It takes an encyclopaedic reader to read an encyclopaedic 
narrative. Also, you still won't be able to find that pinkinroller excerpt 
in Google, whereas we've been discussing it for several days on the list !
