Throwdown?

The others had cleared a space which Willis and Jimmy now found themselves alone at either end of, in classic throwdown posture. 
   
  Is this word in your OED? 
   
  Or your AHD? 
   
  a lot a  folk where i come from don't never pronounce that R. they say, THO-Down
   
  throwdown (as in gauntlet or fight) 
   
  throwdown (as in get down and party or do anything with cool, with dexterity, energy, seriousness,  etc)
