When I lived in Berkeley, lots of TRP novels landed on the shelves of Moe's and Shakespeare & Co. There were copies to be found at Black Oak and Pegasus as well. But in Fresno (where I now live), Pynchon has no traction. I suppose that our author is of some importance in college towns but he's hardly on the radar down in Springfield.
