One nice thing about life in Wiki-land is that all edits can be
tracked. Here, for example, is the point at which the Playboy Japan
statement first appeared in the TRP article, on the thirtieth of
November, 2005:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Thomas_Pynchon&diff=prev&oldid=29673707

The individual who made that edit never contributed anywhere else, at
least not from that IP address:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=58.164.75.236

Wikipedia's strangest feature is its mixture of ceaseless, Heraclitean
flux and user accountability.
