Working hypothesis is that both the principals in the piece are
women. Upon meeting they recognize this in each other (Jimmy more
overtly) and proceed without superfluous discussion to act out the
impromptu sadomasochistic ritual. "Watch where you're putting those
lilywhites" is sweet talk. Farfetched, but nothing ventured nothing
gained.
