ATD: ad: Pynchon excerpt from new novel

It struck me as funny. It also reminded me of an unintentionally hilarious
line from the short-lived (for good reasons) "Bay Watch Nights".

"Stand back, I'm a lifeguard!"

The guy was in a disco at the time.
