Prognostication on the P-list

I'm not a fortune teller--I don't even play one on the Tube--but I estimate
that the revived personal sniping on the list--you know, wherein maybe 3-10
folks involve the rest of us in regurgitating the same bile that they
already regurgitated years ago--can be expected to continue through the
release of Against The Day and then go on at least through the inaugural
discussion of the book here. So let's see...I figure there could be *at
least* a year more of this. Another fucking year!

Now, if you're a believer in immutable destiny, you'll accept that some
talented and intelligent but ultimately pitiable people just can't help but
waste their energy with this bile-spewing for a least another whole year,
and that said spewed bile will turn up in our email, be read by any media
types who might come by here, and remain enshrined in the archives for years
to come.

But if you're a believer in--gasp--free will, you'll understand that those
talented and intelligent people consciously elect to spend a certain portion
of their lives regurgitating said bile, fully realizing that hundreds of
other onlooking subscribers already got the point. Then again, if you're a
believer in free will, you'll recognize that it's possible that those
talented and intelligent people will, after all these years, finally elect
to suck it up, accept the fact that they might never be reconciled with 1-10
people who also happen to be on the mailing list, and lay off the sniping.

Mixing metaphors,
