'Single Plane' Theory

Every night at 7:30 and 11:30 I watch the Simpsons, and during the
commercial breaks lately they show off some Fox news bit about
interviewing Nick Cage and Oliver Stone... VB (what kind of name is
that for a serious reporter, anyways?) says something like "how do you
feel about making a film that George Bush likes?" and Nick Cage says
"Ah come on, we aren't trying to be political here" - now, Fox is
notorious for its rampant cuttings and clippings, but if those two
quotes are anywhere near the same section of film, here's a hint:
Nick Cage, you fucking made a film about an event that has been
nothing BUT politicized since it happend, and if you think your film
isn't political (Stone, too), then you are a goddamn ass clown.
Further evidence for ass-clown-ism: the remake of The Wicker Man,
starring Nicky Cage, except instead of Scotland it's Maine, instead of
being a virgin he's allergic to bees, apparently real magic is
involved, the original director is pissed the hell off (though he is
trying to make a sequel, Cowboys for Christ), and you act like a coma
victim who's been shot up with too much morphine. I want to take a
collection to re-make The Godfather, but with Jack Black as Michael
and Burt Reynolds as Don Corleone, because maybe by doing so people
will leave the classics the fuck alone.
