'Single Plane' Theory

I got to know Pynchon when some fat, hairy PERL programmer reccomended
I pick up Gravity's Rainbow.  His name was Uri.

But anyways, while I did know that the "single [air]plane" theory was
a joke, that Wicker Man trailer had just played on the tee vee and for
some reason I felt the need to rant.  I mean, come on... bees?
