I started paying for digital cable about six months ago, and have recently 
started watching Deadwood.  At first I thought that all the "fucking"  
expletives was anachronistic (probably so), but after watching for a while 
it started to feel right.  Sort of a way to bring us into the time period by 
using modern expletive, when "correct" ones would put a wall of atique 
between the viewer and actor.
