I started paying for digital cable about six months ago, and have recently
started watching Deadwood. At first I thought that all the "fucking"
expletives was anachronistic (probably so), but after watching for a while
it started to feel right. Sort of a way to bring us into the time period by
using modern expletive, when "correct" ones would put a wall of atique
between the viewer and actor.
