Christopher Lee is the catalyst.  How about that scene at the end
where his hair blows out like crazy to resemble the sun icon they
worship?

Eh, then again, that whole nude dancing scene...  I guess you have a
point.  I'll bet good money that's not going to be in the new one.
That scene did kind of make the first third of the movie.  And the
song?  Damn.  I saw Mogwai a month or two ago and the song they played
coming on the stage was that very diddy, and I hear that Ladytron used
the same song as well (Bostonians, they're coming around again this
fall at some point), and there's one or two artists in my mp3
collective who have covered it including I believe (this is off the
top of my head so I could be wrong) Snake River Conspiracy...  or some
other band of their repute.

Frankly I doubt there will be a musical element to this version at
all.  Minus the butt-slappin' fun of the Eckland scene, that maypole
song will be sorely missed as well.
