Thanks for that. Just to be clear: I wasn't being argumentative in my
post, just interested. Turns out I had read that NYT review before, and
totally forgotten it. I reckon the reviewer is pushing it just a wee bit
by claiming Pattern Recognition is a 'remake' of COL49 but there
definitely are some resonances.
