Perez-Reverte on Pynchon

Wow. That is very surprising indeed. Bored? Actually I've noticed a lot of 
p-list folk saying they never finished M&D. I found it probably the easiest 
of Pynchon's books to read (possible exception being Vineland), though I 
admit that I got progressively lost towards the end. And it was such a warm 
and beautiful book I couldn't imagine anyone not being seduced by it, at 
least not until I bought my Dad a copy and he gave up after about 100 pages.
