Indeed. Always had my suspicions about Bloom. Still never seen that
famous Paris Review slating of Vineland, just heard it quoted. Now it
seems he can't even remember the name of the book. Probably he picked it
up, didn't like the start of it, and that was that. Perhaps he was too
busy groping Naomi Wolf to give it his full attention?
