There's one guy in "Ratner's Star" whose first words are, "My mouth is
saying hello." I couldn't keep reading after that point.

The only DeLillo book I have successfully completed was "White Noise," and I
hated it. I understand that a lot of people praise "Underworld," but seeing
as I hate (a) DeLillo and (b) baseball, I can't say that I am eager to dive
in....
