My uncle, the busker, had a trampoline instructor.
Before the Hawaiian bounce master passed, he left my uncle a question: what 
is the name of the U.S. dollar sign?
Fifteen years later and my uncle is still without an answer.
Sure he knows theories on $’s origin…but the name he’s missing.
In Larry’s will:  If Francis should ever find the name of the dollar sign, 
be sure he receives my gold coins.
Well.  Larry’s wife, the only person who kept the secret, recently went.

Does the dollar sign have a proper name?  Or was Larry just crazy?
