  that grows in mortal soil.  Booked for  
  a post rhetorical / post humanist reading/writing match, 
  P published blurbs, essays, and his Slowlearnings. 
  His opponents wouldn’t be rope-a-doped 
  into reading/writing stories. 
  Northrop Frye had seen it coming, 
  the abandonment of distinction  of species
  in the face of demands for universally desired 
  qualities and the author
  become an implied character. 
  Mchoul & Wills were no match for what was
  booked next: Vineland the Bad vs. the Ladies in White &
  their P-List clowns. The best the P-Industry 
  could toss into the ring 
  would be ignored. Almost dead white males, 
  their readings, the best available, 
  would be marginalized by the Ladies in White, while
  the Jacks popped from their boxes exposing their rusted
  springs.
