Vineland criticism

. . . there's 15 (my hurried count) articles with "Vineland" in the title, as opposed to 32 citing "49" and 92 of GR. Mind you, looking at that long, long list I'd just love to be able to link up to and read (Rossi, Umberto. "The Harmless Yank Hobby: Maps, Games, Missiles and Sundry Paranoias in Time Out of Joint and Gravity's Rainbow." Pynchon Notes 52–53 (2003): 106–23.---linking Philip K. Dick and Pynchon [something I'd love to see more of]), but the point I was making is that there seems to be a general scholarly aversion to Vineland. Ya just might have to come up with the definitive stuff yerself (or maybe it will ultimately come down to my own work---life is a long, weird road . . .) But, yeah, if you've got access to the notes (looks like you'll need access to all of them in order to get the dirt on Vineland) you'll find useful stuff.
