Let Pynchon be Pynchon

I like the genre reading. P writes anatomy, encyclopdic satire. This has 
been said many time, Mendelson, Hollander, others.

Does his satire have a target? Is it corrective?  Weisenberger says,  no.


I say, yes.

His target is American Capitalism. His corrective is American Labor.
