offerred to D. Monroe by Toby G. Levy. Liesl
Schillinger talks about Thomas Pynchon as an 'elegiac'
author, with Against The Day influenced by modernist
authors ranging from [especially] H.G. Wells to Saul
Bellow. L. Schillinger's review of the novel was
published on November, 26, entitled 'Dream Maps'
(available to NYT subscribers), which is the same
review as in The International Herald Tribune,
available online.
