AB Fab correspondence, mate.

Pynchon has an obsessional attention to detail---
perhaps "Paranoid" is a more accurate modifier?
Read the outlines of his shadows carefully enough,
and you can scrye the outlines of characters who
leave their mark, but are never spoken of.

I figure that paying attention to a game with four
possiable outcomes of cricket attaches to Quaternions.
The world of AtD is a world where aether
existed---if only for a brief, scary, exciting time.

      Good evening everyone,

I've just joined this list today as I'm now around 770 pages into Against
The Day. This is the first of Mr Pynchon's books I've read, I'm ashamed to
say, but I am absolutely captivated and it won't be the last. More than
anything I'm astonished that Mr Pynchon, an American author, is clearly so
well-versed in the game of cricket.
