and, of course, in my humble opinion (not only I think so, by the way) is 
Michiko Kakutani's ....

OK joking. I think it's Aubade, Poor Dad by John Clute, like somebody else 
on the list pointed out before me, sorry don't remember who. Of course it's 
spoilerish. It is very insightful and informative piece for an early review. 
I enjoyed it a lot. And I am also waiting for a 'professional' 
mathematician's reaction to AtD. Look out for all those maths journals.
