Dave, I agree with the guy who said you're the soul of
the p-list and I that reminds me I just wish you could
do the DJ thing  for us as well as chunk out so much
interesting Pynchon-related material the way you have
for so long now. Thanks again.

On another topic, before I forget, I was  doing some
Christmas shopping at Comic Relief in Berkeley today,
nice to see Gravity's Rainbow in there in a display of
recent Penguin reissues, the edition with the Frank
Miller cover, which looked OK in the comic book store.
I told them they should get Against the Day and got a
hearty handshake and sincere best wishes in return, no
doubt they'll have it on the shelves in a jiffy.

FYI, while I was in that independent book store I
bought three graphic novels to give as Xmas gifts:
American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang (which won the
National Book Award, I think); Action Philosophers by
Fred Van Lente & Ryan Dunlavey, collecting issues 1-3
of a fun comic series; and The Filth by Grant
Morrison, Chris Weston, Gary Erskine.  They look like
fun and I may keep them and read them myself instead,
and do something cheap like handmade cards and arty
stories as gifts again, or maybe organic preserves
from the RosemaryBay gardens out back.
