I'd refer you all to Dory Previn's Left Hand Lost (on the Mary C. Brown And
The Hollywood Sign album, 1972, there's also a version on the Live At
Carnegie Hall live double). Mind you, if memory serves, this is one thing
she doesn't blame on her father (nuns, apparently).

Eever since my Dad suggested doing the same thing to

my youngest brother (this was during the Reagan

Administration, mind you), I've wondered whether

perhaps it had been done to me as well, seeing as,

depsite being ostensibly right-handed, I wear watches

on my right wrist, but haven't been able to write

legibly for, well, decades ...

 

Meanwhile, the aforementioned brother remains

left-handed (as well as blond and grey-eyed, all 

recessive traits in the family), and has since become

what I like to call "criminally insane," so ...
