NP re Institute for the Future

Paul Saffo of the Institute for the Future is a guy
I've known quite a while, co-wrote a book with him
(and a Japanese author, a project for the dreaded
Japanese market, called Silicon Road) more than a
dozen years ago now.  Another Insitute deep thinker,
David Pescovitz (hope I'm spelling that right, maybe
Keith will check it for me and let us all know) worked
briefly for Blaster magazine, which I published and
edited back in the day, too. Connected to the Boing
Boing crew in a couple of other ways, too, through the
guy who was Art Director for Blaster and another
magazine. They don't seem to be Pynchon readers,
however, more into a sci-fi genre thing.   They like
and often mention the works of the p-list's own Paul
Di Filippo, which is always a good idea.
