Has anybody seen this movie? Dave Kehr wonders whether Pynchon did...

"Michael Anderson’s 1965 “Operation Crossbow,” a ripping yarn from MGM’s British studios in which George Peppard singlehandedly destroys the Nazi rocket research facility at Peenemunde. The art direction of the underground installation powerfully suggests Ken Adam’s work for the James Bond series (did Thomas Pynchon see this during his research for “Gravity’s Rainbow”?), as does the extent and callousness of the violence."
