group read/ pls explain

The discussion follows the scheduled sections.  A host will try to
facilitate discussion with his own observations, questions, etc.  But
anyone is welcome to post any of their own observations and questions
at any time.  It's a veritable free-for-all, as long as you don't jump
ahead of the schedule.
