[Steven]

	I've read almost all this author's collections of essays for the lay  
reader.  And while they have a point, and they're ultimately  
worthwhile, the author takes such a sweet long time getting to it  
that I wonder where his reputation for lucid prose comes from?  Give  
me Richard Dawkins any day.
