Bear v Shark

Just finished reading the thoroughly entertaining novel "Bear v Shark"
by Chris Bachelder, in which at one point the author (a sometime
character in the book - it's very self conscious - in the Stonehillian
sense) acts as a last minute replacement for Thomas Pynchon on the tv
show "American Vacation"

The book is set in a dystopic near future very similar to that in
which George Saunders' stories take place
